Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
OneVerse is designed to be private by default. We don't run servers, we don't have user accounts, and we don't track you. This policy explains what the app stores and why.
The short version
· No account, no login.
· Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud — we can't see it.
· No analytics, no trackers, no ads, no advertising identifier.
· We never sell or share your data. There's no server and no third party to share it with.
Information the app stores
When you set up OneVerse, you may provide a first name, your age, how you're feeling, your goals, and where you heard about us. This is used only to personalize the experience. Your reading activity — verses read, streaks, favorites, reading plans, and estimated time reclaimed — is stored the same way.
All of this is stored locally on your device and synced through your own iCloud account (Apple's key-value storage) so your progress follows you across your devices. It is never sent to us or any third party. We operate no server and have no ability to access it.
App blocking (Apple Screen Time / Family Controls)
OneVerse uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to pause the apps you choose. Those apps are represented to the app only as opaque tokens provided by Apple — the app cannot read which specific apps you selected, and that information never leaves your device. All blocking happens on-device.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, OneVerse schedules local notifications on your device (a morning verse and an evening recap). Their content is generated on your device; nothing is sent through us.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple provides the app only with information about whether a valid subscription exists, so it can unlock Pro features. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
No tracking or analytics
OneVerse includes no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Children's privacy
OneVerse is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your control and data deletion
Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud, you're in control. Deleting the app removes its local data. Data stored in iCloud can be managed or removed from your device's iCloud settings (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; we'll revise the “Last updated” date above and reflect any material changes here.
